Marcia J. Cossell received both her B.A. and J.D. degrees from Indiana University. She was admitted to practice in the state of Indiana and has practiced in Indianapolis since being admitted. Ms. Cossell has served as a Judge Pro-Tem in the Marion County Superior Courts, Indianapolis, Indiana.
Ms. Cossell is a member of the American Bar Association and the Indiana State Bar Association. Ms. Cossell is on the Standing Committee of The Indiana State Bar Association Civil Rights of Children. The committee makes continuing studies of laws pertinent to the civil rights of children. They report their findings and recommendations to the Board of Governors of the Indiana State Bar Association. Ms. Cossell is on the Standing Committee of Improvements in the Judicial Systems. She is also on the Board of Director's for Seeds of Hope, a half-way house serving women with addictions.
