Attorney John Lowery received both his Bachelor of Science in Biology (1989) and Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (1992) from Purdue University. After graduation, he was employed as an environmental engineer, remediating hazardous waste sites throughout the United States including: Phoenix, AZ; Cincinnati, OH; and Waukegan Harbor, IL. After starting a family, Attorney Lowery wanted to reduce his travel and took a position with NIPSCO as a project manager overseeing energy reduction projects for institutional, educational and industrial customers. Attorney Lowery returned to law school in 2000 and received his Juris Doctorate from Valparaiso University School of Law (2003) and was admitted to practice in the State of Indiana during the fall of 2003.
Attorney Lowery started with Lee Cossell & Crowley, LLP as a Law Clerk in 2001 and has been with the firm ever since. Attorney Lowery’s areas of practice include personal injury, product liability and construction/contract issues. In addition, he is closely involved in the preparation and presentation of evidence at trial for the firm. Attorney Lowery is able to draw on his engineering/construction education and training to analyze complex technical issues and present them to jury in a simple, understandable manner.
Attorney Lowery’s professional affiliations include the Indiana State Bar Association, Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and American Association for Justice.
In his free time, Attorney Lowery is heavily involved in the leadership of the Hendricks County Disc Golf Club and participates in charity events held by the Lee Foundation.
